Who We Are

We believe that gardening is accessible for people all over America.

OUR STORY

My name is Emily, a British-born Nigerian living in Maryland, serving the DC, MD & VA area with one-on-one consults nationwide. I've been gardening for 4 years, with many successes, some failures, and a lot of learning along the way.

I vividly remember one Thanksgiving, excitedly tipping over grow bags in the snow, only to find tiny, pinky-sized sweet potatoes instead of the bountiful harvest I had hoped for. That experience taught me the importance of proper knowledge and guidance, especially in understanding that sweet potatoes grow from slips, not like regular potatoes.

My mission is to inspire and guide those who dream of gardening but feel limited by space or experience. Whether you have a balcony, live in the city, or have never been around farms, you can still grow your own herbs and tomatoes. I want to show everyone that growing your own food is achievable and rewarding. You can grow with me!
